Canyoning course 2024

Our canyoning course is a training course that provides participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to run, climb, jump, swim and abseil safely in canyons. The course begins with an introduction to the equipment and safety rules. Participants learn how to properly put on a climbing harness, helmet, wetsuit and shoes and what safety equipment is necessary to go on a canyoning tour.

Participants also learn how to assess river currents and conditions and what techniques to use when running, climbing, jumping, swimming and abseiling. The canyoning course also includes an introduction to the basics of rappelling, including choosing the right rappelling equipment and techniques.

Participants also learn how to work in groups and how to respond to emergencies, such as injuries or dealing with equipment damage. In addition, there are often practical exercises and simulations to strengthen participants' skills and confidence.

Depending on the course length, experience and level of difficulty, participants can go on a canyoning tour at the end of the course to put their newly acquired skills into practice. 

A good canyoning course should ensure that participants receive comprehensive training and that their safety is guaranteed at all times.

The course takes place for 4 people or more.
